Parmi les influences revendiquées de la demoiselle croisée sur myspace, jeune américaine exilée à Paris, on trouve Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Ani DiFranco ou encore Aimee Mann. Pour ma part j'ajouterai que ceux qui aiment The Innocence Mission peuvent également y aller les yeux fermés. De la folk classique mais avec un grand C, de l'évidence, de beaux arrangements tout en sobriété qui fait mouche, une voix pleine de charme, tout y est.

En parlant de Pierre Faa d'ailleurs, lui aussi va sortir son premier album cette année. Une autre bonne nouvelle donc, car les extraits folky-lounge sur myspace sont élégants, mélancoliques et touchants.
Quant à son groupe Peppermoon, trio qui présente sa musique comme de la "fresh & french pop" <img src='http://www.indierockforum.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> il projette de sortir un premier EP en digital pour bientôt. Pour l'instant seules sont disponibles quelques démos sur myspace, mais délicieusement fraîches et sixties, avec un petit côté Belle & Sebastian sur certains morceaux et quelque chose de Françoise Hardy dans le chant d'Iris (écoutez Bed & Breakfast, superbe ), c'est caressant mais jamais ennuyeux pour autant, plein de jolis arrangements et même le clavier bontempi (c'set Pierre Faa qui s'y colle 
) passe plutôt bien.
